About Us

Society for Life Changers and Good Parental Care {SoLife} is a non-governmental, not-for profit organization and women led organization working on Human Right, Health, Children, Women and Youth Development, registered with Corporate Affair Commission (CAC) in Nigeria, The organization started working in 2009 and received CAC certificate 2015. The organization was established as a respond to the community needs for the control and prevention of diseases, human right issues, adolescent sexual and reproductive, child morbidity and mortality, women and girl economic empowerment and women participation in governance.

The organization has expertise in conducting Capacity Building, Advocacy and Lobbying, PMTCT Social mobilization, Community Surveys, Operational Research (Baseline Survey), Strategy Review and Development, Human Resources Development, NGO Governance, Technical Backstopping, Management Systems, Institutional Review and Analysis, Project Supervision and Monitoring, Report writing , Project Design and Final Evaluation . The Organization also conducts research into several areas in developmental issues and has highly qualified and experienced staff in SPSS and DHIS1.4, Epi Data, Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.), PITT, and STATA. SoLife has conducted various capacity building for Non-Governmental Organization, Community based Organization, Faith based Organization and other Non-state Actor at various levels.

The organization has received funding from government agencies, national and international funding organizations such as fhi360, SFH, The Girl Generation, USAID, UNICEF, MSH CRS, AWDF, NAPEP, ARFH, Global Fund ACOMIN, PACT, STAI, Embassy of the United States of America, PEPFAR.

The success of the organization has been on the increase and depended on emerging needs of the communities where it works. Its activities are not only community driven but community ownership which is weaved into the design of every community project from the outset; hence sustainability is ensured. Critical aspect of our strategic vision is that, every programme has social inclusion of Women and Girl groups and the incorporation of persons from these groups in public offices.

SoLife abides by gender and general human rights; this motivates beneficiaries to imbibe the spirit of safe environmental practices. SoLife works to strengthen the capacity of CSOs/NGOs in effective engagement with the government and the general public on the issue that affect the women and girls.
