Society for Life Changers and Good Parental Care {SoLife} is a non-governmental, not-forprofit organization and women led organization working on human right, health, children, women and youth development, registered with Corporate Affair Commission (CAC) in Nigeria. The organization started working in 2009 and received CAC certificate 2015. Our organization was established as a respond to the community needs for the control and prevention of diseases, human right issues, adolescent sexual and reproductive, child morbidity and mortality, women and girl economic empowerment and women participation in governance. The success of the organization has been on the increase and depended on emerging needs of the communities where it works. Its activities are not only community driven but community ownership is weaved into the design of every community project from the outset; hence sustainability is ensured. Critical aspect of our strategic vision is that, every programme has social inclusion of women and girl groups and the incorporation of persons from these groups in public offices.

Job Profile:

  • Function with the office affairs of the Organizations programme or activities.
  • Offer assistance in planning, Implementation and management of Gender Based Data and various issues.
  • Compute, file and report preparation, trainings, workshop, field work among other duties.

Job Profile:

Reporting to Monitoring and evaluation and learning Manager. The successful candidate will conduct Effective data collection, collation, analysis and reporting. Regular M&E training and mentoring of service providers. Dissemination of M&E results to all stakeholders, including the communities. He/She will work with the ME&L Manager on periodic preparation of Monitoring and evaluation plan

Job Profile:

This is an Assistant Manager position. Reporting to Senior Manager-Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for issuing new advances and approving advance requests backed with relevant support documents. He/She will review all approved retirement for completeness and accuracy and post into Quickbooks within 48 hours of receiving the approvals. He/she will periodically visit the territories to monitor performance and liaise with the Territories F&As on all matters monthly. He/She will also reconcile all regional territorial accounts by the 5th of each month and resolve all outstanding issues and also reconcile all territorial Control Accounts to ensure that balances contained therein agree with those from the territorial books. In addition, the candidate will ensure variance analysis report from the territories are sent and reviewed by the 10th of each month. Finally, He/She will complete the monthly field expenses checklist to ensure that expenses are captured by the various Project Accounting units and participate monthly in the financial consolidation process.

Minimum Academic/Professional Qualifications required for the position:

  • He/she must possess ability to use relevant accounting programmes like Quickbooks and ERP software like SAP.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in full accounting or finance practice in an NGO or other relevant organisations.
  • He/she must possess ability to use relevant accounting programmes like Quickbooks and ERP software like SAP.
  • Must possess excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Creativity and strong analytical skills are important to this position.
